Dual Zone A/C problem

We have a 2005 Bounder workhorse (W22?). Our zone 2 a/c went belly up, discovered the start/run caps had gone up in smoke. Replaced them, thing ran good. Now for some reason zone 2 is not a selection on the Tstat. There is nothing, it's like it has fallen off the face of the earth. Is there anyway to check the Tstat for zone 2, or am I stuck with replacing it and hoping that is the problem? Like I said there is no indication of zone 2, everything else works just fine on zone 1, fan, furnace, a/c. Any ideas or direction would be helpful.
Thanks in advance!!

There is a board with DIP switches on the top of of your AC.
Also do a reset of your thermostat.
Check the phone type communication cable on your AC.

Something might have become disconnected when repaired.

Thermostat is probably good.
