Well that's none of the above.. A 31 is only 130 amp hours at the C/20 rate normally. That said.. Looks like a dang good battery.
Home was where I park it. but alas the.

Even my regular 31 is w-a-y too heavy for me. In for a penny, in for a pound. I would like to get a 2nd 31 to take home with me. The price of the T and the tall one isn't that much different. There are lots of muscle bound young men down here and that tall battery will pose no problem.

I shake my head when I get to the specification pages of batteries. Missing is plate thickness and sometimes even the weight of the battery.

"Hey how much horsepower does this tow rig have?"

"You don't gotta know that. It's proprietary information, anyway"

Wotta hoot.

That C&D Dynasty MR490 is quite the AGM 12 volt battery ... 100 lbs. in about a Group 31 form factor!

I notice that it's recommended float voltage matches a stock Parallax converter's output voltage, too. This would mean no converter/charger change would be required in our Class C.

It never occured to me to use a UPS standby power battery in an RV. I may consider a couple of these, if I can locate them at the right price point and figure out how to lift it down into the battery well. So far I haven't been able to find an amp hour rating for this series of C&D batteries, though.

George ... you're also using C&D AGMs?:

- I'm thinking about replacing my two AGM batteries in a few weeks.

- How are your UPS batteries doing in your RV application? It never occured to me to use UPS batteries for RV power.

- I believe my Interstate AGM wheel chair batteries were made for them by C&D, but I'm not sure if Interstate sells them anymore or where to buy C&D labeled AGMs. Any ideas?

- What model C&D UPS AGM batteries are you using?

Thx ... in advance.

That appears to be a fine battery. It's not new ... it's been around for a few years.

I notice that: It's pricing may shortly be bumping up against the lower end of lithium pricing, it may be a bit too tall for some RV battery boxes sized for the smaller 12V battery heights, and it's pretty heavy to be able to manually ease it down into the well type battery compartments in some RVs.

From what I was lead to believe, this critter has .115" plates. Note the wimpy CCA.

Drooling. Perhaps I can talk my friend into this battery over the 31 xt. That 22 Extra Lbs of lead is impressive.
