Replace Automotion motors with Rollertrol on American Coach?

Hi, I am looking for folks that have experience in replacing their Automotion shade/blind motors with the Rollertrol motor.

I am having an issue with mine and have found that I cannot get the Rollertrol motor to work with my system, but I can get it to work if I hook it direct to the chassis battery.

If you have actual experience in this please comment.

It's the no radio model, so no programming it is direct wired. Automotion refuses to sell replacement parts, you have to buy a whole new shade. Rollertrol has never had this issue, they are will to give me a refund which is nice but I would rather have a working solution that doesnt cost $800.00.
