Terk Trinity Xtend Amplified Indoor HDTV Antenna with Wifi Extender

Looking to see if anyone has installed this unit and how it is working for them in their RV.

I took the batwing off put a JACK up but the Y power thingy broke I have a replacement on the way.. until then I saw this and thought if it will pick up HDTV and extend CG wifi win/win... I have a spot up front in the over head area to put it and thought the fiberglass cap should not hinder the signal.. but wanted to see if anyone else had used this in a RV setting... tks..

I had never heard of it before
so i looked it up
frankly i have my doubts to the validity of the claims

and its ability

do you want to try this at the stick and brick or in the RV

i really have my doubts, sitting on the TV table in an RV
either for TV or trying to extend CG wifi
if that thing can get a useable wifi from CG while sitting on a table then your PC or tablet should work with the CG wifi

extending the router signal from one end of your stick house to the other
is different, and it 'might' do that, but so would a $20 travel router that plugs into a wall outlet
I can explain it to you.

I had a Terk ? ISTR 55 ? outdoor antenna for four years as a replacement for a busted batwing because the Terk was on sale. The Terk worked great with OTA digital, no complaints. It also worked with the RV's "12v" no problem using the original Winegard panel. Didn't have to use its own Terk wall wart and an inverter.

It went downhill after the third year because water got into the antenna somehow (as learned during the autopsy) where it is sealed at each end cap connection and it rusted out inside.

I now have a Jack, which also works well, but I expect it will last longer than the Terk did.
