bulldog tongue jack

im looking at geting a 3500bl bulldog tongue jack does anyone know how big around the upper tube is mine is a little bigger than 2in and does it matter

I just purchased the bulldog jack, but went with a 5000lbs model. I haven't installed it yet, it's sitting in the garage. If you still need this info I can go out and measure it, but the 5000 lbs model I got is made to fit a 2 1/4 inch hole

Tongue jacks do come with different sized posts. Some are 2", some are 2.25".

Check your trailer to see what size you can use.
