Picking first camper help

I will be a traveling equipment operator and need helping picking the right camper.

Current truck: I have a 2006 silverado 2500hd (9k towing)

I am honestly torn between a travel trailer and having my wheeler in the box and having a 5th wheel with the (garage) in the back 2nd option would be nice with a fold out computer desk setup I can build.

any info and opinions would be great thank you!

The need for a desk made me immediately think of the units with two recliners in the rear, big picture window and replacing one with a desk and office chair. An example would be a keystone passport 2450rlwe. And the size is large enough to live in while small enough to be easily towable.

9k isn’t that much. My Tahoe is 8600. What is your payload?
