All the parks except Neskowin are in Washington. If you take the free camping trip and then want to purchase you are excluded from buying on the used market for what I believe the last time I heard was 2 years. You can purchase used on Craig's list for less than $2K or you can take the free camping and purchase new for about $10k.

K/M Resorts are generally nice. I am not really familiar with resales, but with other memberships parks you get a better deal buying a resale. Going to a sales meeting may prohibit you from do a resale for a year.
Make sure ROD is included in your purchase.
We stay at K/M Diamond Point Resort, in Sequim, WA. free with our ROD.

Neskowin Creek RV is part of the KM resorts system. Although not members we have stayed at Neskowin Creek several times and also several of the sister campgrounds. I have found them to be neat, clean, and well managed overall. Probably the worst thing I have heard about Neskowin Creek is that they have pretty well oversold the memberships. Due to the close proximity to Portland they are full almost all summer.
