I just notched the post to clear the gas line.

I used a 5'' pvc fence post, 7' long, anchored a cap on curb side and hinged a cap on the street side and latched with a large cotter pin with a chain. Then just screwed it up to the frame rails with self tapping screws

Another vote for Croton Park. 50 min train ride down the Hudson River right from the, I believe, County Park to Grand Central Station.

Croten Point is great and right on the Hudson. The train ride was very enjoyable both directions.enjoy your visit, we did.
