Newburgh Bridge going west/south is free. The other way has a fee. The above routing is the best, less stressful, enjoyable ride.

Best way to go. Roads are good and the ride is very scenic. This is my preferred route from Cape Cod. Worst traffic and construction was around Orlando on I4 (very very bad).

Thank you for the update. We go to Bar Harbor several times a year and that section of road is long overdue for rehab.
