Keith,It involves a little nut an bolt work but the end cap on the non motor end of the awning is the same as the motor end. Also some people have pinned the end cap to the motor shaft.
There is not a lot of scheduled maintenance but if you want to you can remove the cover on the motor(6 screws)and lubricate the gears.Dennis Codella'07 Endeavor 40PDQ
