Anyone ever take hwy 54 from Wichita,KS to Tucumcari,NM to pick up I40 on into Az. Any feedback would be appreciated. We only drive about 6 hours a day, but would this route consume so much time going through small towns as to not be advantageous.

Looked at thermostat and eco also the thermostat shut off. There scorched wires on both parts. Thanks for all your help everyone. We know you always have the answers or at least know where to point someone in the right direction. Thank you all.
Just for a heads up to all clap users, buy a portable charger. We keep it with us so if we have to spend a night or two with out hookups he just plugs into the charger and is good to go. Then we just recharge when we can, so its ready for next time...
