Stuff stolen from inside my locked RV in a locked storage area

We have a toy hauler that we've left in Florida for the last couple of summers. The RV park where we winter has a storage area out back. We got back to FL a couple of days ago and were pleased to see that the rig didn't suffer any hurricane damage. Looked good all round. When we opened the door the biggest thing we were worried about was the possibility of mold (there was a little). To our shock the garage didn't contain our golf cart or three bicycles.

It would seem that the thief (or thieves) jimmied the door on the bar fridge, removed the fridge and crawled into the garage where they could see their "prizes". They jimmied the locks on the ramp (they look fine but they no longer lock) and removed our stuff. It must have happened a while ago because the 2' vegetation at the back doesn't show any tracks.

I suppose I should upgrade the locks on the ramp but we're not going to buy another cart; we'll rent instead. They looked all through the RV but there was nothing else missing. Not much of value in here - 4 TVs are still here. They missed wifey's gold wedding rings that she accidentally left here in April.

Apparently there used to be security cameras but no more.

We made a police report and contacted our insurance but I don't expect much of anything from them.

Anyway, stay safe and don't trust the locks on your RV.

I'm thinking of replacing these (which I now know are useless - literally 2 seconds with a pry bar) with

with this kind of thing that I can install a big padlock.

I know nothing is going to stop a determined thief, but I'll feel better knowing I did everything I could.

I wouldn't bother upgrading. Just replace and move on. If it's tough, they will get a crowbar and hammer and do a lot more damage.
