Color Marino...Formerly Villas Onac , has apparently been closed !

I don't know the details ,just heard it from a friend who used to Winter there!

Too bad if true as it was one of the nicer Parks and not too far from Mazatlan!

The link above doesn't work for me. That's a shame about the RV Park. We started in 1999 at the Rancho Los Angeles and saw that RV park and hotel spiral lower every year - then the Villas Onac that we enjoyed for 2-3 visits.
I can't see that area successfully developed into condos or hotels and I can't understand why an RV park can't survive in that area. The beaches there are absolutely the best we've found.

Since we consider the risks of going on Facebook to be too great regarding privacy and security issues we refuse to sign on so could someone pleases do a Copy & Paste of any info rather than links to Facebook?

They confirmed on their facebook page that the RV park is also closed. Bummmer

Its not the RV park, its the hotel itself. Although I suspect the RV park will also go. It was one of my favorite stops.

Maybe somebody else will buy it if we are lucky.

That's a shame. We stayed there on our trip south last winter and really enjoyed it. A great location, beautiful beach and good management. The road from Esquinapa had recently been repaved and was one of the best we travelled in Maexico. There was talk of large scale development planned for the area so apparently an RV park was no longer the highest and best use for the property. Unfortunately this is likely to be the case for many properties in the future
