EVERYTHING CHANGES
Below some quick unscientific rough math for cost of travel between 11-30-2013 and 12-4-2013. Two withdrawals at two different cash machines gave us two different exchange rates based on charges to our credit union accounts in the US. This includes all charges/fees to give a true cost to us per pesos so may not be the same as other published rates.

Diesel fuel is now up to 12.38 per liter and will soon be 12.49 per liter as there has been a steady increase of 11 centavos per month for more than a few years now. Our notes say we were paying around 5 pesos per liter in 2006. Here is a rough idea of costs per gallon in US $$. Before we left AZ we paid $3.619 as the lowest price we could find.
12.38 pesos diesel per ltr X 3.78 = 46.796 pesos per gal = $3.617US per gallon
Approximately 1,000 miles Nogales to Lo de Marcos at approximately 7mpg =142.86 gal at $3.617 = $516.71US
Tolls continue to go up. We think this is all the tolls we paid from Nogales to Lo de Marcos.
