It's heartwarming to me whenever I read an article about Mexico-bound RVers who are truly able to enjoy the Mexico I remember,...even IF it's in Baja.

My wife and I used to fly to Mulege and land on the beach airstrip in front of the hotel, tie down the airplane, stay for 3 days and practice "going to heaven".

We had originally planned to go there - but ended up workkamping in Yuma. Problem is - we had heard so much re it NOT being safe there - we probably would have cancelled. It is good to see a RECENT post re this.
