I-40 Littlerock to Memphis

It's been three or four years since I have been across I-40 from Littlerock to Memphis but the last time it was one of the roughest interstates I have traveled. Anyone know if there has been any changes in the last several years? Seems like that highway nearly beat my motorhome to death the last time.

Major pavement/bridge deck rebuilding in West Memphis I-40 mm 277-281. This section is where I-55 and I-40 share the road. Single lane in both directions-they are removing pavement 3 feet deep.

Was on it 4 time last year - ROUGH - but I've seen worse

LOL, that road seems to ALWAYS be under construction! I can remember when I was a kid back in the 60s and got my drivers license, one of the first places my Dad let me drive was on the "new" sections of I-40 when we went from Birmingham to Little Rock to visit my grandparents. We watched 'em build that interstate and in the places it wasn't built, we had to get off on US 70. That road is still there, so it might be an alternative to I-40 since it parallels the interstate.
