N Va to Creede Co. Left 10/24 and ran across WV 55, I 79 and I 64 west to St Louis then W on I 70, down to Emporia Ks On I 35 then W on 50 to Garden City, W on 10 at Lamar, (theres not a drop of water on 10 for 62 miles) and then across 160. What a great trip. Fuel prices were low all the way, Alamosa had 2.13 diesel. Not much traffic except cattle and grain trucks out that way. Roads going out were pretty good except around St Louis and a mad traffic jam there.
Coming back I dropped down at Lamar and took 287 into Ok, at night and there are a thousand red lights blinking on top of Wind Generators.
It was Saturday night so decided to make Woodward before bed and met 2 vehicles b/n Boise City and Guymon, a distance of 65 miles. Roads were 2 lane Ok bumpy. Came down 270-281 to I 40 (People drive like they are racing you to Hell) then E on I 40. It is rough across Ok but Ar is good Tn is better. I 81 from I 40 is pretty good shape also. Great trip. 3800 miles total, Fuel price went up 25 cents coming home but can't complain. Avg fuel mileage 10.8.
