Zihuatanejo - Costa Bella

I hope this is ok to post here.

We have been at Costa Bella for the last three days. It is a very small, private RV park in Zihuatanejo. They have only about four spaces.
I can't say enough good about the place and the owners. I highly recommend this small place for those who happen to be able to stay here.
Note: I have no interest in this RV park except as an extremely satisfied guest 🙂
It is secure, very peaceful and quiet and only about 100 yards from the beach (Playa La Ropa) and beach restaurants. It is easy to find and easy to get to. It is listed in Church's guide with excellent directions there so I won't attempt to repeat the directions.
The yard is beautifully landscaped with a lot of shade and many fruit trees. The owner is installing a swimming pool in September or October of this year. They take great care in the upkeep of this property as it is their personal residence. The WIFI here reaches the spaces and is reliable. There are both indoor and outdoor showers and a clean bathroom.
30 amp hookups.
If you are in Zihuatanejo and don't want to stay at the big Fonatur park in Ixtapa (wifi only in the office, all concrete with no shade), this is an excellent place and I would stay here again if we are in the area.

Ditto to everything said by the Canadian Rainbird. In addition, El Manglar usually closes for their holidays in Sept-Oct. Please say hi from Linda & Paul as well. (We will be back in Zihua within the next 3 weeks.) Enjoy your stay.

We know the park--very nice place and owners as you said. We stay across the road at El Manglar, since when we arrived for the first time in Zihuatanejo more than 10 years ago Costa Bella was full. (They had about 10 spaces then--before the appartments) so we dry camped in El Manglar Restaurant parking lot. Next season they started their RV Park.
IF the restaurant is still open (they usually close for a few months in the summer) the food is the best on the beach. If they are there tell them Arturo says hello!

For local information we can also recommend Zihuarob's website and forums at http://www.zihuatanejo.net

Enjoy Zihuatanejo. We won't be there until December.
