Or How I Booked a Great (I Hope) Site in Banff for a week.

My husband and I were right there with you enduring the "agony" of booking Banff. He was trying for Trailer Court while I tried to get sites at Lake Louise. The next day I did Jasper as soon as it opened.

Didn't get our first choice (or 2nd, or 3rd, etc., etc.) anywhere, but all are acceptable and insures we have a place to park the RV every night.

Waiting for the Provincial Parks to open their registrations. The 90 day out period means I can't do ours until mid-March.

Enjoy your trip up there. We're really looking forward to it.

You’ve probably seen a goofy PDF full of screenshots that I threw together years ago. It showed how to rewire a 12v/cable outlet to bypass the signal booster. I check the stats on my web share and that PDF has been the #1 download for many years.

It’s just as well. I miss the good old days with FeameMaker to PDF and WinHelp. Today’s online tools (like Confluence) make it hard to produce compelling docs. I still love the job, but it’s not what it used to be.

Glad you got the time to do all this research. We've spent a couple days at Tunnel Mountain on different occasions. We eschew sat tv and internet while there, too much to do tires us out but applaud your securing a site during prime time.
