had a 4 day trip to Colorado River country to do some star gazing and
look for an old Army Fort. Was warm and one of the guys killed a rattlesnake.
the fort is long gone,
it was called Fort Gasten and was a river boat stop in 1859 between Fort Yuma and Fort Mojave.
My fridge over heated and I had to shut it off on Sat.At 345 in the morning Orion and the milky way was awesome .
only saw 2 shooting stars.
next month going on the Bradshaw trail.
Quartzsite was dead and gas is 2.89 here ans 3.89 in Blythe.

Also installed bag awning on camper

I read up on it and that Bradshaw Trail sounds like a very interesting trip! If you take it, give us a trip report.

A 4WD vehicle is recommended, so I guess our small 2WD Class C is out. ๐Ÿ˜ž

You might consider Glamis Hot Springs Resort. You can ride out of camp and access the Bradshaw trail which you can follow all the way to the Colorado river. Oh and by the way...they have pools, spa tubs and full hook ups.
