Campgrounds near Henderson,KY

Can anyone recommend a good campground in the Henderson, KY area. On the waiting list for Diamond Lake Resort, plan to be in that area for a week starting on June 15th. Thanks for any info, Dave

Have always enjoyed staying in Audubon State Park.

Thanks for your reply, Ky Rambler, trying to get into Diamond Lakes, hope somebody cancels,Windy Hollow got very poor reviews online,so, don't think thats an option. I may have to change my plans. Dave

Hi Hellbird, you have a few choices, first is the Audubon State park in Henderson, Ky. The other is Windy Hollow Campground in Owensboro, Ky 270-785-4150.
I live in Owensboro and know you'll have a great time at Diamond Lakes. Don't forget to stop by the Moonlite for some great bar b que.
