Looking for a place in the Carmel or Westfield Indiana areas that has a decent campground where we can set up for about two or three months. Maybe between July and October. Any suggestions?

There are a few campgrounds in this area, but none of them are seasonal or long stay. There's only one that "might" be able to house you for 3 months (I'm not sure). I've never stayed there, but I have been there to look around, and the name REALLY says it all!

Camp NothingMuchHere yup, that's right "Nothing Much Here".... but it is somewhere to park and have full hook-ups. The attraction is NOT his park. The attraction is the close proximity to everything in Hamilton County. And there is LOTS and LOTS to do and see in Hamilton County. I know, this is my home!

If you click on that link above, there are other links on that page for all the neighboring campgrounds in Hamilton County area. These are your best shot. Cicero, White River Campground is a county run campground, but has a 2 week limit (or at lest it use to), but full hook-ups and very nice.

Good luck!

You're welcome to park in my driveway, but I live about 35 miles from Carmel. My son drives from our house to Carmel every day for work, and it takes him over an hour one way, fighting the conjested traffic in and out. We use to live in Carmel and am never so happy to no longer be living here! We love having a corn field for a back yard now, and living in Madison County.

If you don't mind the drive, Anderson has a Good Sam Campground that is open all year round and season too. We stayed there the first time earlier this year. Live here all my life and never knew it was there. Pretty nice place, full hook-ups. But a little distance to Carmel-Westfield: Timberlane

When did CampNothingMuchHere reopen? You are correct, White River does have a 2 week limit.

Thanks DutchmenSport. My son may be playing baseball in the Carmel/Westfield area in the fall so I wanted a place to go up and stay on the weekends. I figured it would be cheaper to leave our 5er up there for a month at a time than to stay 2 nights in a motel every weekend. Surprised with all of the RV manufacturing in IN that there aren't more parks around the Indy area.
