Just returned from one week at Glacier Basin at Rocky Mountain National park. We had a bear try to get in the RV and left paw prints all over the side of it by the front door. Donโt put out hummingbird feeders! Luckily it did not bother our neighbors from Poland in tents next to us! The mountain views from D loop are beautiful and the elk are in the campground almost every evening.
Glacier Basin has been closed down for several years and they removed all the trees from D loop which now has great sites for larger RVs. The campground states no RVs larger than 35 feet but there were some there that were larger ours was 38 ft. They also added nice restrooms with flush toilets (but no showers) . A and B loop still have trees and C loop does not allow generators. Weekends you need reservations but during the week there were empty sites. A beautiful place to go
