Was going to take the MH to Fl in Jan&Feb this year but wasn't sure we were going to be able to go until the last minute. Called to see if there were any openings in the area we wanted to go but everyone was booked solid(not complaining about this-that's what happens when you wait until the last minute). Saw online that there were hotels in MB that rent to snowbirds for a month at a time. We have a small dog, so I found one that we could rent for a month that took pets also. Well we've been here about 10 days so far, and now I know for sure why we have an RV. Haven't stayed in a hotel for years. The pictures online sure look better than what we're staying in. We're only about 50yds from the beach and that is the best thing we can say. The worst thing is the smokers. Their web page says all buildings are smoke free, but they allow smoking on the balconies. If the doors sealed better it wouldn't be too bad, but last night we almost decided to cut our losses and just head back to Ohio. But the place was packed and hoped that today the crowd would clear out-which it did. Please don't get on a smokers vs nonsmokers dialogue, I'm just having a little rant about the fact that I have a brand new MH in my driveway at home and here I sit in a hotel room that I would probably give a half star(if that high). But it was my choice-WON'T HAPPEN AGAIN!!!:S Gary
