A few weekends ago I got bored and went for a quick weekend getaway up highway 20, not for from Colville WA.

Here's a video of the campground. Nice and open, spread out with a good amount of space between campsites. I need to go back soon.

Gillette Campground

There's several lakes nearby, within walking distance actually.
2009 Silverado 3500HD Dually, D/A, CCLB 4x4 (bought new 8/30/09)
2018 Arctic Fox 992 with an Onan 2500i "quiet" model generator

Google Maps will take you to the coordinates, as will Google Earth. Using the name or names does not take you to to spot. Both Gillette and Lake Gillette are listed on the Colville NF website. They are just a short distance apart.

If you don't have, here is a site for mucho info on NF campgrounds. Doesn't give coordinates, but usually can go to the forest website. This has been attached before, but here it is agin'!!!

I know we have a forum section for boondocking/dispersed, but it would be nice to have a sticky for Nat Forest reviews in my opinion!!!

That's interesting: Google Maps comes up empty. So does Google Earth. But Google Google goes right to it's web site.

Thanks for the video. It looks like a good place to camp and not have neighbors 10' from each other. Also looks like plenty of room for large rigs.

My wife has kind of a bad knee. Are the lakes less than a 1/4 mile from the campsites?

Dunno, Y-guy -- it looks a bit cooler than where you and I are now! (Though I see it will be 97 there again tomorrow.)
