We are planning to do some biking along the Pine Creek Rail Trail in PA. Looking for a campground with electric along the trail.
Thanks,
Mick

We stay at Twin Streams CG in Morris, PA.

It is only about a 3 mile drive to Blackwell, where you can get on the trail.

The ice cream shop just outside of Petticoat is a destination while biking....

How could we pass up a place with a name like Pettecote Junction?
Thanks for the info.

Pettecote Junction Campground is the only one I know of on the trail. Has been several years, but it was peaceful, beautiful and quiet. They have hookups and showers. Look at the campgound map and the Trail runs right along side it. We live very close to the Trail. Look here Pettecote Junction

Little Pine is classed as a "modern" CG with electric at the sites, you need to fill your fresh water on the way to your site however. Colton is primitive with no power, and pit toilets, pretty much a tenting and backpacking facility. Leonard Harrison has six sites with power, and a tight, narrow loop road to navigate.
Canyon Country is an OK private campground a few minutes from the trail. Stony Fork is a full service CG and not too far from the trail, and Twin Streams in Morris is another decent place. All in all, Petticote gets you right into the heart of it all, but like a good boy Scout, be prepared, as it's one heck of a long ride back to civilization if you need anything other than what the local general store has to offer.
