Place to Stay Near Ft. Dix/McGuire AFB New Jersey

We have a grandson coming back from a tour in Afghanistan around the middle of September and would like to be there to greet him when he gets in to McGuire/Dix. We can boondock for any length of time necessary, so Wal Marts, Lowes, dry camping places or commercial parks are fine. I'm also retired AF, so a place on either base is do-able too, but I don't see any Famcamps listed for either base. A parking lot would be OK as long as no one get's anal about us staying a night or two. We've had another grandson come into Camp Lejeune and know arrival times can be a bit uncertain some times.

There is Turkey Swamp Campground not too far away (15 miles or so north east of Ft Dix) owned by the County with water and electric hookups.
