I will be in Plano, TX in January for about a week working. Looking for a good campground to park my motorhome with easy access to the convention center.

Darn. Each time I see one of these posts I read carefully hoping something new has opened.
With family in Plano, we stay at Lavon Lake COE several times a year; quiet, inexpensive, large sites. We've driven through Spring Creek: staying there would be closer, but it's a trailer park (old units shoulder to shoulder, narrow roads) right on the I-75 access road with lots of traffic.

Spring Creek Village RV is in Plano (east side of US-75/Central) not Richardson.

For us this would be just a decent place to park for a few days to visit daughter...then we go back to our normal places we like to camp.
I think the point is there is no reason for a nice facility to be near Plano. The number of people who are there with RVs to visit Relatives is a small amount at any one time. Who would be there is workers and Plano doesn't want trailer parks with transient workers popping up. Call it snobbish if you wish, and if you do, don't expect anyone from Plano to say otherwise, they are fine being a higher end community.
Spring Creek Village is in Richardson, and is across the road from a Super Walmart and other shopping. Many a time I have been stuck in Traffic on US 75 and witnessed the police converging on that trailer park. I am not sure I would have my enemies stay there, much less my friends. But I must admit I have never been in it, so maybe the view and vibe from the highway is different than what you would actually get. But it is a trailer park, first and foremost, RV park a distance second.
The best option in a quiver full of bad arrows is the Lighthouse RV Park in Melissa. North of McKinney which is north of Allen, which is north of Plano, it at least is easy access to the main highway, 75. It isn't too bad a commute except during the Morning and evening rush hours.

Looks very nice but how far from Plano?

It will vary from what part of Plano but about 12 miles.

About 28 miles from Hickory Creek a CEO Park on Lake Lewisville. It is mostly freeway so not too bad most of the times.

Hickory Creek seems much easier for us to get to than East Fork but that maybe just us.

Spring Creek Village RV Park. On North Central (Hwy 75) just south of Spring Creek Parkway. Good location for work in Plano.

If you mean the convention center in Dallas, that's about 30 or 40 miles away from Plano. If you mean the much smaller convention center in Plano then I'd suggest maybe looking at the COE parks at Lake Lavon. There are a couple of trailer parks in and around Plano that have some RVs in them, but they appear to be full.

Been looking also...have a daughter moving there in January starting a new job and would like to roll in and visit at some point.

Haven't seen much of anything in or even near Plano that looks good...hard to believe there isn't something
