Nichols, We've been to the San Raphael Swell, but have not done the ashtray. I've never been a smoker, so it doesn't hold a lot of interest.

The TC crowd really has it together when it comes to great trip reports. Maybe that's because they do the kind of trips we like -- out away from the crowds.
