I got an email yesterday from KOA announcing that Sunset Beach is now one of their family of camp grounds.
I went on their site and was surprised to see that the rates have been lowered to reflect the local competition and the area.
I am still no fan of the owners **** the earth policy but it does deserve another look from those of you considering the area.
I am inclined to believe that the owner could not sustain the property with his former business model and was smart enough to try something else.
He also owns the former Maddox property on Chincoteague that is also a KOA and Massey's Landing in DE.
