Where to winter and have everything cheaply.

Seasonal rates in Florida campgrounds have become expensive as well as in Arizona. Anyone compromising with a stay in El Paso,Tx? I didn't care for buggy Florida or the high crime there. South Tex is reasonably priced, but the hummudity was getting to me and my wife, so we went North to El Paso. The dry weather has been great for us. The mountains are a short drive away and the shopping has everything we need, including good restaurants. An added bonus is the low crime rate and friendly people. Winters are around ten degrees cooler than Mesa, but doable with electric heaters. The days are warm and sunny.

Be aware New Mexico is a very cold place to spend the Winter due to higher elevations. Expect frost and colder.

Rio Grande Valley of Texas is very reasonable. First-timer specialist at Circle T Park in Mission.$100 a month for the first 6 months. They have a swimming pool, hot tub, Clubhouse and many activities. Many other good deals in the area as well.

South Central South Carolina and all of Georgia! But not along the coast line. Go inland. Lots of great places. Mild temperatures.

That says it all. If one is willing to give up a few degrees, it opens a lot of area. Same with South Texas. Ten degrees will get you two hundred miles of real estate to enjoy. All the way up to Corpus Christi or San Antonio.

If you like El Paso, that's great. The times we have been there the air pollution was so great it was hard to breath.
