We are leaving mid Jan. To travel south from Ontario. First time leaving this late. Is it hard on the frig to have it on? Should we just pack a cooler? Do u run it on propane all the time or switch to electric at the campground.

Any problems when running the furnace? Problems with propane in cold weather.?

Hi,

If it is below -20 C (-4 f) you may want to delay starting the fridge--or winter proof it.

We leave from Pittsburgh, Nov, Dec or Jan. Return the week preceding Easter.

My wife has the refrigerator and freezer packed when we leave home.

We leave the refrigerator on AUTO all the time. When we unplug from 110v the fridge auto switched to LP. Never had a problem. I do turn it off when fueling or filling the LP tank. Turn it back on AUTO before leaving gas station.
