Looking to build a co-pilot dash shelf/tray for our laptop computer. Don't want a floor mount table. Want something that fits right on the dash.

Please post some pictures if you have one.

Want to build something like this:

Don't have any pictures but when I was running deliveries and using a laptop for navigation, I made one using a piece of shelf board and a plumbing fixture that fit in the cup holder. IIRC, the plumbing piece was a plastic floor drain flange that accommodated a 2" PVC pipe. The flange was screwed into the board on the underside. I ended up making more of these for other drivers on the crew.

Just a couple of quick ideas, use 2 drawer slides and the top of a wooden TV tray top. Not sure on how to mount it without seeing the dash.

Somewhere I saw a small fold down shelf that fastened to the side of a cabinet/counter top and or desk, that might work.
