Reflectix

Just had to replace the Reflectix covers on a few windows. It seems like this new roll is half as thick as the old stuff I was using. Don't know what R rating the old stuff had but this is closer to crinkled tin foil. Old stuff kept the shape of the window after cutting it and this new stuff just rolls back up. Are there different thicknesses of Reflectix or is this just the new and not improved version?

I didn't know there were different types either. Luckily the roll we bought for our house windows was the double Reflectix, Staple Tab Edge and what we ordered for our rear FW window was the same.
