water fill cover

My toy hauler has two separate freshwater tanks. PO had taken second tank out for more storage. I replaced tank and now I'm looking for another water fill locking cover to match the one he installed. Does anyone know where I can find a twin to the one in the picture. (I hope the picture is here!) I've looked on a lot of sites with no luck.

It is a one piece gasket and it is very possible that he added it himself. The one mobeewan suggested has the right dimensions and I will probably order that and keep an eye out for a gasket that will fit.

Could he have just added gasket material. Is it one solid piece or a strip spliced together at the ends?

thanks Barney, I think I got it.

mobeewan, that looks as close as anything I've seen yet but still no gasket and I'd like them to be the same - may not be possible but will look.

Maybe this one?

I haven't been to one of my favorite Surplus and camping sites for a while. Not long ago they started carrying RV parts and supplies. Came across it while perusing the RV accessories. It is refered to as a large cable hatch (3 screws on each side). They also have a medium size (2 screws on each side).

Yes,that is exactly what he did. He had a terrible stroke and can't communicate and his wife passed away a few months after we bought the trailer so I can't ask where they bought the cover. We will keep looking.

Looks like the PO added a locking hatch over the existing non locking water fill connection and cap.

Mine has 2 openings through the side of the trailer - one for each tank. When PO removed the tank he made a plate to cover the hole and removed all the plumbing. He added the locking cover on the remaining fill opening. I got the tank when we bought it and reinstalled it. I like the one on ebay but would like to find one with a gasket like the one on the trailer.

My TH has two fresh water tanks but only one fill. They are linked by 1.5" pipe. Fill one tank and they both fill, close the valve in the crossover and you can draw from only one. Just sayin since maybe yours was originally the same.
