2002 Holiday Rambler spare tire crank?

Just getting back on the road after a few years off with health issues. Got the tires all up to snuff and tried to figure out how to lower spare tire for checking. There's an access plate for a handle of some type that is exactly the same size as the access plate for the manual slide mechanism. But the only handle I have is substantially larger (used for rear jacks). The largest socket I can fit into the access plate is 9/16 on a 12 inch extension. But it doesn't engage anything. Neither will smaller sockets. Anyone familiar with what HR might have used on these rigs or the alumascape series? really scratching my head over this and the owners manual is silent on the topic.

You said the larger one was used for the rear jacks. Landing gear cranks are typically smaller. Mine is a 3/4" OD tube with two notches in the end, like a bottle jack handle.

Good catch. The larger one - the only one I have - fits the rear jacks, just as you said. I don't have anything similar to a bottle jack handle and don't think I ever did. We are the 2nd owner and it probably didn't get passed along. Access port looks like it would just about take a 3/4 pipe. If I could only see the inside, I could grind the correct end. Just hate the thought of cutting into the underbelly to see what's what.
