Hi
I'm looking at a 2011 Grand Junction 340RL as well as a 2011 Montana 3400RL Hickory edition. I would like your opinions on each. Hoping maybe someone has compared the two in the past and if so made a decision and what the reasons were for that decision.

The pricing on them is pretty similar and I don't know a lot about Grand Junction.

Thank you in advance for what is always knowledgeable help

God Bless

Having the Montana 3400RL, arguably the most popular floor plan Montana has had. They since moved on to other models , but built the 3400 for several years. Other then the graphics, and some minor things is treated us great for several years. Its a 2008.

Would not hesitate to buy another ,that 2011 should be great. Concerning the wheels, they should be rated 110 psi for G rated tires. Have a friend with the 2011 Montana, and he upgraded to the G rated Sailun tires, and his were rated for the 110 psi.

I can't say anything about the GJ, but we have had a 2011 Montana 3665RE since summer of 2010 and tow it Arizona for 4-5 months every winter, plus some local summer use and other than minor tire issues (I now have LR G tires), have had no major problems, just normal wear and tear, but I am a great believer in preventative maintenance.

You might ask your question on the Montana Owners Club forum. There are many owners there who are very happy with their Montanas. And some who have had problems. Like any brand. Maybe someone there compared the two.

The Montana should have wheels rated to LRG tires(do that/Sailun's)), not sure about the GJ.

Go with the floorplan you like the best as those two builders aren't much different than any other in build quality.
