RV AC's are not efficient compared to home systems.
Not only that but I feel that trying to force the cold air thru the duck work it losses a lot of efficiency. These ducks aren't big enough and the fans on the ac aren't strong enough. I have a portable in the LR that's 7,500 btu and I feel it does a better job then the 15,000 on the roof. Of course venting is a problem and its always in the way but it sure works good. Sorta redneck too ๐ฎ

I never use the single ac unit we have but I find it almost unbelievable that 3 units are needed to cool such a small space. How big are the a.c. units used in say a 3000 square foot home?

Our toy hauler 5er has 3 AC units but you can only run two at a time.

If so you have something that is drawing too much amperage.
I run 3 AC's in 90-120 temps with ZERO issues.
Get the 3 AC's and enjoy life!!!

Buddy has a landmark that came with 3 when he was ordering. Had the one removed over the kitchen and had a fantastic fan put there. Still cools great with the other 2
