96 collins fifth wheel issues

Hello all, I've inherited a 96 Collins 32 foot fifth wheel.going thru and cleaning it and getting it in good shape I've noticed numerous issues. I'm told this has a power inverter as I'm running it on shore power. Firstly where is this thing located?? I've looked everywhere an no such luck. Second the outlets on either side of the trailer do not work. The kitchen and entertainment center, and bedroom outlets work fine. I've gone thru the fuse box changed all those put and even done the gfi button reset. So I'm stumped right bow and of course the owners manual is long gone. Anyone have any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

Likely you hqve a CONverter and not an INverter. Look for a metal cover, maybe under the refer. That should be the converter. Had one trailer ther the converter was on the floor off to one side after you opened a door under the refer. Most all trailers are wired in a daisy chain fashion. Power is fed from outlet to outlet. One you find the converter start atthe closest outlet and move around the trailer from there. When you find a dead outlet back up one and check the wiring connections.

I had a Collins. I recall that when the GFI cut out, I had to go behind the wall in the front storage to reset it. I also looked everywhere and finally called Collins (still in business then) and they told me about the GFI reset behind that wall.
I can't remember where the inverter was located, Could be behind there also, since the 120 fuse box was in the bedroom.
Hope this helps a little.
