Can a awning be added to a slide? Not a slide topper actual awning to sit under.

X-2 on the pop up type canopies...more flexibility of use.

When we first got our Outback, I wanted to add an awning to the front slide, and still keep the one that factory installed above the door.

Talked to my dealer, gave him all the information like length, etc, and even the numbers of the existing awning to see if we could get a match.

Turns out, we could not get an awning on that slide, because they don't make them that short! We needed to be about 4 inches longer for one to fit. ARRR! No awning.

So we just decided to continue using our Quick Shade. We ended up getting 2 when our 10 year old one finally died.

Yup. Have on on my curb side slide that is 10 feet. With the 20 foot main awning, I have almost the whole side of the camper dry if it rains.
