B&W Companion hitch removal

Just got a new truck with the puck system. Bought a B&W Companion hitch that weighs about 230 pounds. What have those of you that have a similar hitch done to remove the hitch without straining your back.

That sucks! But you are still out there doing what you like and do what it takes to make it happen, good for you!!!

I get it done with the help of an awesome son-in-law who does the heavy lifting, as needed. We were working on the truck 'n trailer just today.

Some of us just didn't do well in the genetic lottery. Hereditary bad shoulders and marginal back as well as Type 2. Surgery on R shoulder about 2 decades back, facing another one, most likely, but the L one is worse, now. Bad rotator, torn tendon and, likely tore a muscle tightening down a car seat for one of the grands. 😞

60 , old , not hardly .:B I was pretty gray at 40 ,white at 50 , but still have most of it. 🙂 In all honesty 60 was not a thought as far as old goes . Now 70 , the aging process is starting to show a little ,mostly as you say a bit slower . I notice it the most wading a river fishing , now I don't wade as deep ,and yes I do use a wading stick now . We will see how 80 goes ,closer to it now than 70 . 😞 I fish with a couple guys that are in their 80's still getting it done .

Hair color aside, both of you guys are manly men.

The good news for 4x4ord, is 60 is not old! You have a whole 10 yrs to go, before officially "old fart" league. Even then, there are many spry 70+ men out there enjoying life, maybe just a little slower.

Wonder if AmzOil might help with thinning hair?? My color is not too bad yet.

I just graduated into the “old fart” league this year…. 60 years old. Ron has me beat by a few years but you’d never know it by our hair color….. maybe he uses a little AmzOil?

THAT's too darn funny!!! Yes I am very fortunate to have little grey hair. Fact is my parents took a long tome to turn grey.

Im feeling a bit jealous watching all these OLD MEN lift heavy objects. ! ! !

My dad always told me to work smarter, NOT harder...If these hitches could come apart in 6 pieces I would do it that way over lifting it all at once..

years ago I was a manly man as Ron says and lifted my old super glide into the bed all at once.... 1 hernia surgery later I was a bit smarter....
