Drawer slide

I need to extract my drawer from the slide so that I can re-secure the drawer frame, however cannot figure out how to separate drawer from slide mechanism.

The unit is a 2011 Cougar RKS 278.

Any insights would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Thank you all for your replies. therink described the solution I needed to remove the drawer- very special thank you. At least I can continue on the trip back home without this drawer flopping around for 800 Kms.

I assume the drawer will slide back in past the black plastic locks.

Open the drawer until it stops then lift up and out. Works for me.

My rig has two types of drawer glides. No different than home cabinet glides.

This one with the little black tab you kinda have to know is there, and the other type has a catch on top of the glide that is pretty hard to miss.

I would open the drawer until it stops, and take a look at one slide and see what's going on. Many different types of slides. See what stops it

If you are referring to an interior drawer, my drawers (Keystone) all have black plastic tabs on both sides towards front of guide rails. Push down on one tab with thumb nail and pull up on other. Drawer should pull right out.
