Freeze Proof Heated Water Hose,

Has anyone here used one. How well do they work? At what Temperature do they fail?

I have used one in my food concession business in temps down to 15 degrees with no problem.they are expensive though about $140 for a 50 foot

Must be something like this one from google search - Never played with one.. Looks like you just plug it into 120VAC... Cost is $120

Never used one, though it sounds expensive. Alway's used hose insulation like one would get for a water hose at Lowes or Home Depot....When we camped this past thanksgiving and temps. got down to zero with a brisk wind on top of that, I alway's leave the faucet dripping water, it's alway's helped to keep from freezing up the line.
