Has anyone used the JT's Elephant Foot Jack Pads for the landing gear of their 5er?

I am in need of a new set of pads for my landing gear. I unhitched on asphalt last year, and it was hot enough that the front of the trailer sank in and bent my OEM pads, so I need to replace what I have. I found a couple places on line that look like they sell them for around $79, which isn't too bad. Any thoughts on the?

I use a pair of 12x12 stone pavers that I bought from Lowe's for about $1 each. They have tremendous compressive strength, and if they fracture or get to gnarly on the underside, I can replace them for less than the price of a cup of coffee.

Why the need for pads at all?

Maybe my 25' 5th wheel is light but I NEVER have used anything under my landing gear pads (unless it's to help level)

Even my scissor jacks in the rear.

KISS principal.

for much the same reason, we have been using Bigfoot Outrigger Pads for the last couple of years .... they have performed well on all surfaces we have parked
