When it rains, water is coming in on the inside of the bottom left channel of the bedroom slide out. I have re-caulked the outside of the slide and it still leaks. Could it be possibly coming in through the window seal and running down the wall to the inside of the channel? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I also had the same problem with wind/water leak in the BR slide. This is for the vertical slide walls.

Will try to explain my solution-

I had my wife move the slide in/out a few times while I observed the action of the seals. The seal on the "non leaky" side "flipped out" as the slide moved out and "flipped in" as the slide went in. The seal on the on the leaky side stayed "flipped in" when the slide moved in either direction possibly indicating that the slide was not centered in the opening, everything else operated "OK".

My solution was to epoxy a 2x2 inch piece of 1/4 inch Plexiglass with well rounded/polished edges to the slide side wall, about 6 inches from the top and about the same back from the front edge of the slide. This increased the friction on the seal as the slide moved to "flip" the seal in the direction of movement. I did the same on the other side of the slide. Viola no more leak!

are the seals coming out like they are supposed too?- I would go out next time it rains and see if you can track where the water is coming from. we had a seal on the top of the slide that would roll inn- not much about 8" it would run down and leak water at the base of the slide
the channel is for the slide to go in and out on- any cables on the outside?
I have read where some put some caulk where the seal meets the track causing the water to hit the caulk and not run past the seal-
they marked the seal where it met the top of the track, moved the slide out in and put the caulk there- let it dry and ran the slide out back out.
just a guess!

a picture would also help if possible
