Keystone Sprinter 304 WRKS

Hello all.
Looking to get into the above unit and give up the 36' travel trailer. Wife likes the rear kitchen floor plan and bedroom layout. TV will be a 2005 F350 6.0 diesel (no comments, please). I had the truck weighed and it seems that everything is good in that area. GCVW is 23k. GVW of trailer is 12,140 with a hitch weight of 2005 lbs (according to Keystone's specs. So............
1) Does anyone have any experience with Keystone Sprinter in general and this model in particular ?
2) Dealer is offering me 14% off of MSRP of $47,788 for a price of
$41,251. Can I do better there like 30-35% ?
3) Dealer told me they usually discount the trade-in by 20% off wholesale value. Somehow this smells bad.
So any input would be appreciated

Depends on the actual condition of the trade.

Most dealers offer the wholesale values when selling at a discounted msrp. You can always show more on a trade if the price of the new one is still close to msrp.

The difference money is really where it matters, and so many people get caught up in what they get for their trade, that they forget that the difference is where it counts.

I've never heard of a dealer offering only 80% of the wholesale/trade-in value. Is this a common practice ?

Thanx all for replying. @Campinfan. They offered $14720 for our trade and told me that they would normally reduce that amount by 20% but they were being "nice" by offering us $15k. My research on NADA guides shows they are lowballing me by at least 8k.
It is good to here about the quality and lack of problems with the Keystone Sprinter line.

What are you trading?

Be careful with NADA, because for a true value, you just find your year, make and model, and click "get value". DO NOT click through all the little add on boxes. They mean nothing. The result will be retail values, what you can expect to sell it for, if you were to sell it yourself or what the dealer can expect to get, NOT trade in/wholesale.

In general, we really like our Sprinter. It is a 277rls. Haven't had any major problems - no leaks, no failures, just a couple of annoying little things (the drawer under the stove always pops open while on the road). It has held up well considering we used it for a season and have been living in it full time for over four months. It has over 20K miles on it, from highways at 75MPH to washboarded back roads. We wished the insulation (for both hot and cold days) was better but we managed to stay warm and keep cool.

We are buying a 2015 Keystone Cougar 5th wheel today and got about 30% off MSRP. We are not trading in our trailer but are going to sell it ourselves.

I got the blue book plus a few grand for my trade plus I got about 30-35% off. Its hard to be exact because I would have to factor out the taxes etc. So are they telling you they will give you the other 20% (to bring it to 34%) by giving you the $9 grand for your trade in. You should be closer to about $32,000 or so for the new trailer plus the trade in...check the blue book value for trade in price. Look up used RV prices by looking up NADA for RVs.
