Kingpin worry?

My 5er kingpin looks like it is bent backwards approximately 1/8". A bubble balance seems to confirm this. I have a Super Glide hitch in the Dodge Ram 2500 diesel. No problems with hitching at all. By looking from behind my truck, I can see the jaws (clamp) close completely around the kingpin as I back into the 5er. Should I worry at all?

I kind of agree with SH, but I would have an "expert" look at it to make sure there is nothing there that would cause a problem. The tolerances on the superglide latch mechanisim is much less than an ?" so it seems no problem with the hitch, so just make sure there is nothing amiss with the King Pin.

Your question is beyond my expertise but I can share my thoughts. It would seem to me if the integrity of the kingpin is sound, the hitch jaws lock and release, and you experience no adverse chucking etc., a 1/8 should not matter. Something must have hit it so I would look carefully at the connecting members.
