New guy need help picking a TH

Hi guys. Looking to buy a Toy Hauler new or used. Have done a TON of reading online and am a bit discouraged. It seem the consensus is that no matter the brand to expect to have some problems with you unit. I find this sad yet it is the reality. I'm a bit nervous to buy used as you never know if someone is unloading it due to problems. I don't like any of the brands an of my local dealer sell so I won't be buying local and therefore won't get the support if I buy new. So with all that said I need to pick a direction. I had been wanting a Eclipse Attitude for 3 years now but seem to be reading way to may problems with them. I have a RZR 1000 and will eventually be getting a 4 seater so 12.5' - 13' of garage would be nice. My TV is a 2015 GMC Sierra 3500 SRW with a payload of 3904 LBS. I'm thinking max pin weight of 3000. With my TV I need to get into something on the smaller side with usually limits the garage size. From all the reading I've done and what we need here is the list I've come up with.

Venom - Seem to have a nice build, not so many reviews - only has 11' garage so to small
Desert Fox - Thunder RV has a one off prototype 39' but the garage is only 11'10"
Raptor 352TS - 12.5' garage, great layout. Tongue weight 3250....pushing it.
Fuzion 385 - 13' garage, nice layout, tongue weight 3030 so should be good. Don't know about build quality?

I think ultimately an open floor plan model would be the best option and leave some flexibility for future toys but does anyone other than Eclipse make one?

Well unless a big load of money drops on my lap I think we're going to go for something a little cheaper and smaller for now. Just not into spending close to 100k all said and done. I think I'm back to a Attitude toy hauler for now.

I am in the same boat. I have it narrowed down to the

Raptor 352ts,355ts
Fuzion 325,345,371,385
Cyclone 3110

I really like the interior of the raptors the best and i like the exterior of the Fuzion. Going to Hershey in a few weeks plan to walk them all and narrow it down a little.

I would really like to keep it to 37-39' or I would jump on a venom for sure. There 37' model with a 13' garage would be awesome. I'll take a look at the impact but I'm really liking the Fuzion now. I'm thinking min 13' as SxS keep getting bigger.

Oh also Forest River has 2 new XLR Nitro models (36VL5 and 38VL5) coming out with 14' and 16' enclosed garages. The specs aren't up on their website yet so no word on length/weight though. A friend has a 305VL5 and it's a pretty sweet rig... only a 12' garage though.

Check out the Impact line by Keystone. Not as fancy as the Fuzions and Raptors but I know the one we're looking at, the 351, has a 12'6" garage (so it will fit a 4 seat RZR). I know we're interested in it because it's only 38'ish vs the 40'+ that you usually find for the larger garages.

We haven't had hardly any issues that were manufacturer related with our current Raptor bumper pull (they now sell Raptor BPs as Carbons). Keep in mind, the only people that go online and write reviews or complaints are usually angry customers, not the happy ones.

The Venom 4114 is 13' 7" garage equipped. I think my pin is 3110 lbs.
I have the same track as you and haven't noticed any real issues yet. Pulls great.
Do have some warranty issues to get taken care of but they all can't be perfect I guess.

I have a Venom 3911TK and it is very nice. The 4114 is basically the same with a 13 foot garage.

I went and looked at the Raptor and Fuzion at Camping World on the weekend. The sales man was trying to tell me the Fuzion is higher end than the Raptor? They seem to be fairly similar. I do wonder how they got the Fusion 385 to be lighter than the Raptor 352TS. there almost exactly the same length and same basic layout. It made me wonder if the Fusion is built a little lighter duty?

I LOVE my Fuzion 325. I haven't had any more issues with it than my first small 21' trailer. Houses on wheels will have issues. One thing to keep in mind is that most haulers aren't as well insulated as a regular trailer. You don't want to be south for the summer or north for the winter. I've heard the momentum by Grand Design is better insulated, but It's a lot more expensive. And more fancy. But I've never regretted the Fuzion and love the design and easy garage door. I may be selling it later this season...but I don't think it's big enough for what you are looking for. It only holds 2500 pounds in the 11foot garage. It's 2015 model 325.
