I need some help on window leak issue. Our Newmar 5th wheel has Creation Windows. They went out of business 1 year after our trailer was manufactured.
1. Creation did not cement the 2 outside windows (Fixed--do not open) to the window frame.
2. The rubber molding on the outside contracted. Removed windows 2 times. Done by a professional. $800 expense. They cemented the glass to the frame and used a special caulk to fill in the gap between the glass and the frame.
3. Windows both leak a small amount of water. There is an aluminum channel on the inside where the water collects. It has run out of the channel a few times.
4. We need to resolve the issue. I do NOT want to remove the windows for a 3rd time, but need to seal any gap that I can not locate.
The internet suggests that a positive air system be used to locate the leak. I have no idea where there is a company with a positive fan system.
Other sources on the internet recommend RV Flex Seal in a tube or in a can. Using masking tape and coat the caulked area.
Thanks for any assistance that you can provide.
