Replacement awnings

I need to replace the awning on my 5th wheel. I'm looking for a material that will clean easily especially from environment staining. I'm also hoping to find one where I can set the wind speed to retract automatically. Any suggestions and help will be appreciated.

Wish I had done it when the trailer was new.

I bought mine and then tried to figure out how to engineer a way to mount it. figured that it had to be wind proof or it would blow off and do more damage than it protected and gave up. I'd like to see pix of the ways folks have mounted theirs.

I have done tons of research as we plan to replace our ourself this winter. I think I'm going to go with Acrylic from Vinyl based on everything I read...

We have an automatic awning with Sunbrella fabric. The awning stays pretty clean compared to the stationary vinyl awning we had before like night and day.

All you can do is get a heavier material. There isn't anything that really cleans better but there are easier ways of cleaning what you have.

anybody who totally trusts an awning to automatically retract is playing with fire, JMHO.
